Last days I came across a tape that I used to listen a lot when I was like 4 or 5 years old . It was a compilation with the most popular songs from the ’50s and the ’60s…I remember my favourite ones were “Stupid Cupid” sung by Connie Francis or “Oh Carol” by Neil Sedaka, but I’ll show you other beautiful songs:
Georgia on My Mind , by Ray Charles, a song originally written in the ’30s by Hoagy Carmichael and Stuart Gorell. This version is the most known , it was released in 1960 by Ray Charles and it’s the official state song of US state of Georgia.
Another pretty song is Only you from The Platters (vocal group from the early ’50s). Lots of people think that this song is sung by Elvis Presley (there are actually videos on Youtube wrong tagged). It was released in 1955 and was no. 1 in US R&B chart.

I love this band, since childhood, was the band that I opened the door to alternative metal, and I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Iron and wine isn’t a band, is just a singer who calls himself this way. His real name is Sam Bean and he’s from Florida. A part from singer, he’s composer and producer too. He plays the guitar and the banjo. Sam Bean started his career in 2002 and his genres are folk, indie and Lo-fi.
I love the melody of the song and above all the singer’s voice!! Although, the theme is pretty sad
